If you have food three times a day, thank ALLAH for the blessing and look at those who do not have food thrice a day.
If you have shelter, thank ALLAH for the blessing and look at those who do not have a proper place to live.
If you have enough and new cloths to wear, thank ALLAH for the blessing and look at those who do not have enough clothes and which they have are old or second hand.
If you have shoes to wear, thank ALLAH for the blessing and look at those who walk bare foot on the roads and street because they cannot buy new shoes.
If you earn money by working no matter what job it is, thank ALLAH for the blessing and look at those who do not have jobs and they are begging to make their livelihood.
If you are safe with jaan, thank ALLAH for the blessing and look at those whose lives are cheap enough that any wandering bullet or bomb kills them.
If you are going for shopping, thank ALLAH for the blessing and look at those who can only dream of going on shopping to buy their desired items because they do not have enough money for such luxuries.
If you are safe with your maal, thank ALLAH and look at those who have been robbed and have been put in a difficult trial by ALLAH swt.
If you have parents, thank ALLAH for the blessing and look at those who are orphans, and do not know what does it mean to have a father or mother or both.
If you are protected and support by your husband, thanks ALLAH for the blessing and look at those females, who are living a miserable life without husband, who have to earn livelihood for their kids themselves and have to face the ugliness of the world.
If you have a wife to save you from sins and to comfort you, thank ALLAH for the blessing and look at those who either do not have wife or have wives that are ungrateful and weak at religion.
If you have kids, thank ALLAH for the blessing and look at those who do not have kids, who are spending thousands and thousands of rupees so that they can have kids and complete their families.
If you have time to do good deeds, thank ALLAH for the blessing and look at those, who have spent their lives in doing sins and they realized their mistakes at the last breathe of their lives when nothing can change.
If you have good health, thank ALLAH for the blessing and look at those who are ill, who do not have good health and despite of all their desire they cannot move and do good deeds and dawah like a healthy person.
If you have clean water to drink, thank ALLAH for the blessing and look at those who are compelled to drink the unclean dirty water because they have to drink it if they want to survive.
If you have pious kids, thank ALLAH fir the blessing and look at those who have disobedient kids who are not even good at deen. Who do not care for their parents?
There are countless blessings that ALLAH swt has bestowed on us we cannot realize their value until and unless we look down to those who do not have them. We are rich if there are people down in status to us. We are poor if there are people better than us. We are grate full if we realize the blessings we have, we are ungrateful if we try to get all that the people have.
Al-Quran 2:152
“You remember Me, and I shall remember you! Offer your thanks to Me, and do not (ever) be ungrateful!”
