Muhammad s.a.w.w said;
“...It is only evil that causes a man to debase his Muslim brother...” [Muslim]
If a person does not offer salah five times a day or he does not do what we do or he is better in religion than us are we permitted to talk about his deeds? Are we the judge of his deeds? No, the judge is ALLAH, we do not know what will happen to us when we will be raised.
This is a very common disease among people that they like to discuss about other’s iman. Unfortunately, most people who top the chart in this issue are the scholars, who claim to know islam but then do not hesitate to do takfir of other scholars who do not match their views. This is not justified and this is a sin to do so. We are no one to mock others for anything or any habit they have. Yes, we are told to spread the message of islam but in a way, humble and respectful not a way in which it looks useless.
Allah swt says in Quran: 43:11
“O you who believe! Let not a group mock at another group, it may be that the latter is better than the former, nor let some women mock at other women, it maybe that the latter are better than the former... “
So, we are no one to speak ill about others or to mock othes based on their religion or their deeds. If some one is bad we should invite him to the path of ALLAH but we should not curse him or tell him that he I a bad person and only we are good. This is the worst thing and a trait of jews who do not consider other people even humans.
Muhammad s.a.w.w said;
“Ribaa (interest) is divided into seventy two categories, the least is (as evil as) the like of a man who comes (fornicating) with his mother; and the worst form of ribaa is (the like) of a man who deliberates in the honor of his brother.
“ [At-Tabaraanee].
Thus speaking ill about others Is even worse than fornication with one’s mother. Just imagine what will be the azab of this act!
This is a very common practice today that people like to associate with themselves even what they do not do, jsutto make others praise them. Do these people worship ALLAH or follow islam for the people or for ALLAH? if worship is for ALLAH then it should remain for ALLAH. beign pious is not a sin, in fact if one has the name in the society as a pious person, this will be good for him in this world and in hereafter, but if one creates his image as a pious man but he actually is not pious, then he is a hypocrite who is the worst person among the human beings.
Prophet Muhammad s.a.w.w said about a two faced person;
“The most evil of people is the two faced person who come to these with one face and goes to those with another.”
[Abu Dawood]
He (peace be upon him) also said:
“Who is two faced in this world will have two tongues of fire on the Day of Judgment.” [Abu Dawood]
Try to avoid being a judge of others deeds and try to adopt what islam tells to adopt.
